The Hyatt Regency Boston is centrally located in the downtown Boston, Mass, just two blocks from the financial district & Filene’s basement, Boston common and freedom trail, a block away from Macy’s and just three miles from the Logan International Airport.
The Hyatt Regency has 24000 sq. feet of function space which includes a grand ballroom, an open air terrace and no less than 21 meeting rooms. Besides a full service, on-site business center is also offered. The Hyatt Regency has a beautiful lounge on the second floor done in black and brown marble flooring, dark wood, fresh floral arrangements and top it all with European style carpets. The hotel also looks after each guest individually and a 24- hour room service is provided from the in-house restaurant, Avenue One, whose menu includes lavish cuisine like Alaskan red king salmon, braised lamb shank, fire-grilled fillet mignon and fondue favourites. There is also a fitness center with sauna, steam room and indoor lap pool and adjoining is a sundeck.
The 498 guest rooms located floor six through this 22 storey hotel were all renovated in contemporary style in 2004 and offer magnificent city views. The décor is elegant yet comfortable with triple sheeting, down comforters and fluffy pillows. Work desks have been provided with ergonomic chairs and a minibar is also provided in each guestroom. The rooms also have armchairs and bathrobes and for entertainment wireless internet access, CD players, 27-inch flat screen T.V’s are there in each room.
Expert Tip: The Filene’s basement which has been the Boston icon since 1947 is just two blocks from the hotel. The store has an original simple style of offering the best in designer clothing in wooden bins with no décor. The store is also the home of the event, where the brides from U.S and across the globe come here on that particular day shop for the dress on drastically reduced prices. The day is known as the Running of the Brides.
